Wedding Decorations - Ideas and Stores
Wedding decorations can be as simple or elaborate as you want. Many people hire a wedding planner to tie together their theme and the docarations at the church and reception. These include the flowers, runners, lighting, colors, wedding dress and matching cloths.
If you do your own DIY wedding decorations, you may want to talk to a florist about what flowers go best with your wedding theme. Many people rent out a hotel reception room, country club banquet room, yacht club room, or other locations that have a view, bar, dining room, and dance floor. Most of these locations have managers and will help you with some decorations, ideas, and the catering menu if they have one.
You will want to tie your wedding together with the decorations. For example, you would want to use the same flowers, banners, and color theme at the church, reception and even with the valet parking attendants and bar area and bartenders. You want to basically stake out your wedding area with your decorations and define the full boundary which you are paying for.
DIY budget decorations can include handmade items or things like photos, origami paper decorations and art, large hammmocks for photographing couples and guests in, hand made candles, DIY hand printed runners, hand-made luminarias, pool luminarias(if by pool), hand made table decorations, chalk art and 3D chalk art murals, mason jars for drinking or clever table settings.
Color wedding decorations can be based on a theme or idea. For example, if you wanted to go with a tropical theme, you might want to use colorful orchids that are in your favorite colors. However, you could use other plants or flowers for a theme such as roses, plumerias, magnolias, artist desert manzanita arrangements, jasmine flowers, or large blooming bulbs. Many people that love flowers plan their weddings at botanical gardens or speciality gardens in the area where the flowers they love are blooming. This partly takes care of some of the decorations and many of these botanical gardens have extra decoration features like waterfalls, fountains, and sculpture as well as facilities for dining parties.
You can also do wedding decoration themes based on nationality themes, western themes, comtemporay themes, desert themes, water themes and almost anything you can think of.
