Vernazza Village
Vernazza is the scond northern village in the 5 sister villages of the Cinque Terre overlooking the Ligurian Sea. Some local lodging is available, but major hotel lodging can be found close by in Levanto to the north. The train stops in Vernazza. Check the Italian rail site for more information on times. Train tickets are self-service purchased from a machine at the stations.
It has no car traffic (a road leads into a parking lot on the edge of the town) and remains one of the truest "fishing villages" on the Italian Riviera.
