southeast of the central business district of
Albuquerque, a city in Bernalillo County, New Mexico,
USA. It is the largest commercial airport in the state,
handling 6,471,205 passengers in 2005. The airport
serves Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

in the late 1980s and again in 1996, encompasses
