Welcome!
My professional background in cartography and map design is from both academic training at University of California and years of professional map work experience. You have probably used many of my maps over the years without knowing it. With twenty-three years of professional experience with Thomas Brothers Maps, Rand McNally, and as a private cartographer(map maker), I have learned how to make maps that are functional, informative, and beautiful. I also have learned how to edit GIS map data quickly and accurately for clients needing custom data for their GIS projects.
My mapping experience includes working on both large and small map projects with customers such as Southern California Edison, LA Dept. of Water and Power, Sempra, L.A. Unified School District, Cox Communications, CHP, Grubb and Ellis Real Estate, Trimble, and the California State Tourism Board.
Currently, we offer custom map experience to web publishers, authors, businesses, organizations and anyone else that needs high quality editable maps and data. We strive to create maps that are easy to understand, are informative, and specific to your needs. And we will work with you to gather your ideas into a well-designed and useful map. We use “non-copyrighted” data from a variety of local, state, and National Government Agencies to keep costs down. And we constantly are updating our in-house data library of map coverages that are used to output our maps.
